ABOUT ME

From as far back as I can remember, health has been paramount in my life.
Even as a child I enjoyed eating well and being physically active. My parents raised me to enjoy healthy foods and the great outdoors. As I have aged, my love for peace and harmony through natural health has become my passion. I have a balanced view with regard to health, having had a background in pharmacy for 10 years.
After suffering personal health issues that left me in a debilitated state for two years, this led me to the Endeavour College of Natural Health and found my true self in naturopathy from 2007.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Health Science and am currently registered with the Australian Natural Therapists Association (ANTA). As a mature age woman, wife, mother and grandmother, I have life experience that often cannot be found in a textbook. This is a quality which can help provide compassion and understanding that is not always available in a pill.
I find natural medicine a fascinating world with so many possibilities and love to continually enhance my learning with new research. Some of the therapies I apply, are herbal medicine, nutrition / "food as medicine" techniques, flower essences, irridology and mindfulness.
I love to meet new people and listen to their story, everybody has something to offer. To be able to educate, via fundamental lifestyle strategies in order to help others reach their full health potential holistically, is what drives me.
